The Anita Shapolsky Gallery was originally founded in 1982 in SoHo as "Arbitrage Gallery". It is now located in a historic brownstone in the upper east side where an intimate and discreet service is provided to our clients. The gallery specializes in abstract art from the 1950s and 1960s, highlighting marginalized second generation, Latin American, African American and women abstract expressionists artists.
