The Heckscher Museum of Art has been bringing great art to Long Island since 1920. The Museum's outstanding Permanent Collection is paired with a lively schedule of changing exhibitions and diverse public programs. Special areas of strength include 19th-century American landscape painting, 20th-century American and European modernism, artists of Long Island, and a growing collection of photography.
