Anish Kapoor Sculpture Vandalized at Versailles Again

A large installation by Indian-British artist Anish Kapoor has been vandalized for a second time on the grounds of Versailles in France.
Titled "Dirty Corner," the rock and sculptural piece was covered with anti-Semitic words.
The vandals wrote on the piece that is "the second rape of the nation by deviant Jewish activism" and "Christ is king in Versailles." Kapoor says he will keep the graffiti on the piece to underline pervasive intolerance.
Yellow paint splashed on "Dirty Corner" was removed in June. The piece will stay up on the palace grounds until Nov. 1.
"The sculpture will now carry the scars of this renewed attack. I will not allow this act of violence and intolerance to be erased," said Kapoor, who is Jewish.
"Dirty Corner will now be marked with hate and I will preserve these scars as a memory of this painful history. I am determined that art will triumph."
