Banksy Brexit-Themed Mural Disappears From UK Wall

A famous mural created by street artist Banksy in 2017 mysteriously was removed from a building in seaside Dover, UK, over the weekend.
Popular with tourists and locals alike, the wall depicted a workman chipping away a star from the EU flag, in reference to the United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union. Brexit is supposed to take place on October 31.
Scaffolding obscured the piece on Saturday and by the next morning the wall was painted white.
The Godden family that owns the building previously lost a High Court battle to sell another Banksy mural, notes BBC.
