Cassera Arts Premiers Gallery Announces Its Grand Opening Cassera Gallery makes its west coast debut in La Conner, Washington, with an exciting selection of traditional art forms from Africa, Oceania and the Americas
Seattle, WA, July 2, 2011 — Cassera Arts Premiers, a tribal (AOA) art gallery featuring a mix of sculptures, masks, ethnographic art and contemporary paintings has announced its soft opening July 1st and plans for their grand opening in La Conner, WA. The gallery will host the official opening on Friday, July 29, 2011 with a reception from 6:00pm-9:00pm. All are welcomed to attend the reception and may RSVP by emailing casseranyc@gmail.com
The opening exhibition will showcase a selection of traditional art and sculptures by American Indian and First Nations tribes to cooincide with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Canoe Journey "Paddle to Swinomish".
"With my passion for the arts of native people and my love of La Conner and its culture, it seems like a natural step to open an art gallery here," says David Cassera, owner of Cassera Arts Premiers. "I am excited to share my beautiful art pieces which I have acquired with the community of La Conner. It will truly be a worthwhile experience for any art lover and those wishing to learn more about ancient cultures."
Along with the tribal art Cassera offers a major wall to host exhibitions of paintings by local artists, the gallery itself is a work of art. The exhibition space with high ceilings, white walls, a lovely rear courtyard and mysterious Parisian gallery front window design, is located in the historic Hotel Planter building on first street in La Conner facing the most popular local bakery.
