Invaluable, the world’s largest online live auction marketplace, today announced a new exclusive partnership with premier Atlanta auction house Peachtree & Bennett. Through the new partnership, Invaluable will offer exclusive online bidding on Peachtree & Bennett’s upcoming Autumn Fine Estates Auction, which includes multiple sessions.  The auction will take place in Atlanta on October 11, 2014, with live bidding starting at 4pm ET. Bidders can view the full collection on Invaluable.com and bid online in real-time during the live auction.

“We’re pleased to welcome Peachtree & Bennett to the Invaluable platform as an exclusive partner, and are looking forward to giving Invaluable bidders the opportunity to own the extraordinary merchandise being offered through the Autumn Fine Estates Auction,” said Rob Weisberg, Invaluable CEO. “From an incredible selection of fine art and modern design, to the contents of author Elizabeth Dewberry’s French-inspired home, we are very excited to offer exclusive online bidding on this upcoming sale.”

Peachtree & Bennett’s Autumn Fine Estates Auction will include a feature session billed as French Inspiration by Novelist Elizabeth Dewberry, which includes the entire contents of the Dewberry home that was gifted to her by ex-boyfriend Ted Turner.  The home was decorated in the French period style by Rosemary James from the award winning interior design firm of Faulkner House Designs. The elaborate garden was designed to replicate a landscape scene painted on a three-panel French screen that stood in the dining room of the home.

Peachtree and Bennett will be selling the entire contents of both the home and the garden, along with Dewbury’s 2012 Mercedes Benz SLK 250, which is expected to realize $26,000 - $36,000. Noteworthy lots from this session include a pair of early 19th century Iron Statues from the garden, which are estimated at $12,000 - $18,000, along with an Elaborate Continental Bronze & Crystal Chandelier, which is expected to realize $2,000 - $3,000.  A 19th century French Louis XVI Italian Gilt Wood Mirror is expected to realize $1,500 - $2,000, and an antique Louis XVI Style Marble Top Buffet is estimated at $2,000 - $3,000.

The Fine Estates Artwork  session of the auction will be highlighted by items from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. James Holland of Paris, France and New York City. This session features two Post-Impressionist paintings by Henri Le Sidaner (1826-1939), including “Quimperle: Le Quai Brizieux,” which carries an estimate of $120,000 to $180,000, and “La Boutique,” which is expected to realize $80,000 to $120,000. “L’Oise a Pautoise,” a landscape signed by Gustave Loiseau (1865-1935), is another noteworthy lot estimated at $30,000 to $50,000. Other significant paintings in the session include “La Riviere, Le Matin,” also by Gustave Loiseau, which is estimated at $100,000 - $150,000, and “Effet de Neige a Moret,” by Pierre Eugène Montézin (1874-1946), which is expected to realize $10,000 - $15,000.

The 20th Century Modern Design session includes several items from the Grant Park, Atlanta home of Jane Fonda, as well as an Ansley Park estate collection of mid-20th century modern furniture. Noteworthy lots include Jeff Koons’ “Blue Balloon Dog Plate,” which is estimated at $8,000 -$10,000, as well as a Sonambient sculpture by Harry Bertoia that descended through the family of a man who worked directly with Bertoia, and is expected to realize $20,000 - $30,000. Other items of unique interest include a Meret Oppenheim and Simon Gavina "Traccia" occasional table, commonly known as “the birds feet table,” which is estimated at $2,000 - $3,000, a 1950s Tommy Parzinger studded lacquer cabinet, which is expected to realize $4,000 - $6,000, and a set of six dining chairs designed by Ico and Luisa Parisi, which are estimated  at $1,500 - $2,500.
