Leigh Keno Makes Guest Appearance at Antiques on the Hudson at Lyndhurst, Tarrytown, NY in April

The inaugural Antiques on the Hudson at Lyndhurst is proud to announce a guest appearance and walking tour presented by highly accomplished appraiser and auctioneer of decorative and fine arts, Leigh Keno. Growing up in a family passionate about antiques, Leigh’s intuition, knowledge and love of history will bring insightful commentary to his complimentary walking tour of the show entitled “The Hudson River Valley and New York” on Saturday. April 7 th  at 12 noon. 

Join Leigh as he shares highlights and key points of select treasures found throughout the show, while inviting exhibitors to add commentary along the way.

Founder of Keno Auctions and the head of Keno Art Advisory, Leigh guides buyers and sellers through the complex process of art acquisition and deaccessioning. He is nationally known for his appearances on television's PBS network as an appraiser of
furniture and folk art for over twenty years.

Leigh Keno was recognized in 2005 by President George W. Bush for his efforts as an educator in American history and American decorative arts with The National Humanities Medal. He is a certified appraiser with the Appraisers Association of America, maintains USPAP Qualification and served a two-year stint on their board of directors.Since 2001, Mr. Keno has written monthly columns on furniture and design topics for publications such as House Beautiful, This Old House and Traditional Home.  

Leigh Keno is an accomplished author, having co-written in 2000, Hidden Treasures: Searching for Masterpieces of American Furniture, which details, respectively, some of his brother Leslie and his most notable discoveries.
