Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show Announces Designer Showcase

The Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show will return to the heart of Dallas’ retail and design center, transforming the Dallas Market Hall into the most luxurious event in the area November 7-11, 2013. This highly anticipated event, produced by the Palm Beach Show Group, will feature more than 60 international exhibitors showcasing an extraordinary variety of items including furniture, American and European silver, major works of art, Asian antiquities, porcelain, rare manuscripts and books, Americana, antique and estate jewelry, glass, textiles, and more.
A highlight of this year’s show is the Designer Showcase featuring room vignettes created by five leading local interior designers. The Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show called upon local interior designer John Bobbitt to curate the 2013 Designer Showcase.
“I’ve been involved with prestigious art and antiques shows as a merchant, collector and interior designer at various times over the course of my career, and I am thrilled to be involved in what has become an annual event at the Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show,” stated John Bobbitt, founder of Bobbit & Company Interior Design. “This show is an important component of the fine arts industries and collectors community in our city.”
The Designer Showcase will feature the room styling’s of Bobbitt and four other leading designers who have carefully selected art and antiques from the 60 international exhibitors at the show, spanning from a vast range of antiquities to the mid twentieth century modern. Each designer’s goal: to create individual room settings that that will show guests how the products of creativity can enhance their environment and their life.
Designers in the 2013 Dallas International Art, Antique & Jewelry Show Designer Showcase include: Cathy Kincaid, Ike Isehour, Joe Minton, John Marrs and John Bobbitt.
