Comments event organizer Gaglio, “We are thrilled to embark on this new event at Lyndhurst, one of the most breathtaking locations in the Hudson Valley. The historic mansion is backdropped by expansive river views, magical specimen trees, and gives a glimpse at the lives of the wealthy at the turn of the century. It is the ideal venue for learning about and browsing rare garden antiques and period furnishings.”
Antiques on the Hudson’s boutique-style show presents enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to shop an array of garden antiques, period furnishings, fine art, estate jewelry, vintage and mid century design. The show will be located in the Lyndhurst Carriage House complex in a climate controlled tent pavilion just steps from the mansion with convenient parking, gourmet catering and much more. Visitors to the antiques show may also choose to indulge in the wonderland of flowers in the historic mansion, take in the sumptuous estate grounds, and participate in the lineup of lectures and workshops offered throughout the weekend.
Westchester County, offers access to thousands of collectors, designers and decorators in nearby Manhattan, Connecticut, Northern New Jersey and surrounding communities left void of a major, suburban antiques event over the past few years. Additionally, with the loss of the popular Pier Antiques Shows on Manhattan’s West Side, this new event strives to fill the gap in elegant and grand style offering classic to contemporary decorative arts worthy of every taste level and preference.
