Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its 14th quarterly art exhibition - the Still Life International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.
For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting an arrangement of everyday inanimate objects. The still life works could be traditional or contemporary in nature, with the content exhibiting everyday objects which are natural (e.g., food, flowers, plants, rocks, shells, etc.) or which are manufactured (e.g., bottles, glasses, pottery, books, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc.). All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.
The Still Life Best in Show winners are Feng Wu for his oil on linen, “Tang Sancai and Hong Li”, Cindy Charles for her digital photograph, “Red Rotary” and Colin Riebe for his plaster sculpture, “Folded Melody”. As the Best in Show winners, Feng, Cindy and Colin are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.
Other award winners include Second Place winners, Cher Pruys, Brandie Ferguson and Aodan. Third Place awards were given to Erin Schultz, Krzysztof Szczurek and Karen Ford. Fourth Place awards were given to Paco Martin and Barbara Mierau-Klein. Fifth Place awards were given to Elizabeth Burin and Ron Testa.
Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are eighteen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Helen E. Becker, Diane Morgan, Gaofeng Liu, Xiaomang Gu, Edward A. Butler and Travis Usher.
Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Peter Connolly, John Diephouse, Francis O’Donnell, Diane Lamboley, Gareth Jones and Melissa Replogle.
The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.
The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Japan, Belgium, China, Spain, Greece, Mexico and the Republic of Moldova.
