Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 8th Annual Landscapes Art Exhibition

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 8th Annual Landscapes International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.
For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting natural scenery and the physical elements of landforms such as mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, farmland, trees, rivers, lakes, ponds, forests, wilderness, polar regions, rainforests, islands and tropical landscapes. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.
The 8th Annual Landscapes Best in Show winners are Kerry Adcock for her acrylic, “DAWN AT WOLF CREEK PASS”, Barbara Mierau-Klein for her digital photo collage, “AUTUMN IN ALASKA” and Sara Ussher for her acrylic paint on a natural stone, “IN THE SUMMER EVENING LIGHT”. Kerry, Barbara and Sara Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of February 2023 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art's Group Show in Santa Fe, NM in 2024.
Other award winners include Second Place winners, Nancy Honaker and Christopher Forslund. Third Place awards were given to Lin Cheng and John H Diephouse. Fourth Place awards were given to Barbara West and John Gregg. Fifth Place awards were given to Cher Pruys and Judy Belleci.
In addition, six artistic excellence awards and six honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.
The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Finland, India, Norway, Scotland, Taiwan and Italy. Overall, the gallery judged 277 entries and accepted 115 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website homepage for 3 months.
Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.
Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure through the gallery’s extensive marketing and social media outlets.
