AXA Art Americas bolsters its Board. Art insurance specialist elected three internal and external members to its 14-member Board of Directors. New appointments include the company’s new global CEO, Chief Technical Officer and a celebrated Brazilian collector and patron.

Following a unanimous vote, the Board of Directors of AXA Art Americas Corporation announced the election of two executive members and one independent member to its Board of Directors. With the recent appointments, the specialist insurer now counts 14 esteemed members among its board membership.
Elections include:
Kai Kuklinski, AXA Art’s newly appointed global CEO becomes Chairman of the Board of AXA Art Americas Corporation effective April 1st, 2014. He succeeds Dr. Ulrich Guntram. Mr. Kuklinski’s tenure at AXA began in 1999 during which he held several management positions leading sales and customer service initiatives across AXA Group subsidiaries. He most recently served as Executive Director of the Broker Distribution of AXA Konzern.
Christian Muller, AXA Art’s global Chief Technical Officer becomes Member of the Management Board of AXA ART Americas, effective immediately. Mr. Muller has held successive senior management functions and directorships across AXA France. He joined AXA ART in 2004 as Managing Director of the company’s France, Benelux and Middle East operations. He specializes in new market development, company restructuring and product and technical development. Mr. Muller was named to his current position in January of this year.
Ana Carmen Longobardi was elected Member of the Board of AXA Art Americas Corporation, effective immediately. A native of Brazil, Ms. Longobardi is a passionate art collector of Brazilian modern art, Brazilian furniture from the 1950s and contemporary art. Ana Carmen Longobardi is widely recognized for her contribution to the cultural community as founding member of the Patrons of Contemporary Art for the Pinacoteca do Estado in São Paulo and Member of the Contemporary Nucleo of the Modern Art Museum of São Paulo-MAM. Over the course of her career, Ms. Longobardi has held positions in Marketing and Advertising across Brazil, Mexico and the United States. She has served as Creative Vice-president and Partner of Talent Communication, a São Paulo advertising agency.
