This June, Agora Gallery will host two collective exhibitions that take on the challenge of redefining figures and spaces through a variety of artistic techniques. The artists featured in the exhibition In Reverie of Form tackle subjects of flora, fauna, and the human body, to examine various phenomena with their representations. Culture, psychology, and natural beauty are all considered by this talented array of artists, and are given a comprehensive re-examination through sheer technical mastery. Sharing the gallery, the artists in Spatial Articulation take their color, patterns, and geometry to completely transform their notion of space. With a variety of techniques, each artist allows individual elements of their works to latch onto the viewer’s preconceptions to redefine the canvases and even the rooms they occupy. In this regard, the viewer travels from works as if traveling in time, through space, and between nations.

The exhibitions open on June 12th and will run until July 2nd, 2015. The opening reception will take place Thursday, June 18th, from 6-8 PM. The exhibitions and opening reception are open to the public.
