Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 2nd Annual “Colorful Abstractions” International Online Juried Art Exhibition for the month of October 2016. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website.

The Colorful Abstractions” exhibition opened on October 1st and featured awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.

For this competition artists and photographers worldwide were encouraged to share their best nonobjective or nonrepresentational art. Artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit.

The Best in Show winners are Manish Pandey for his acrylic on canvas, "Where Color Doesn’t Matter" and Stephen Baumbach for his photograph, “Fist.”

Both Manish and Stephen are Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of October 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art's 2nd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2017.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Evalynn Alu for her acrylic on canvas, "Rejection" and Harry Longstreet for his photograph, "Washington63." Third Place awards were given to Robert Hunter for his acrylic on canvas, "Summer Soul" and Robert Baliello for his digital photograph, "Orbit Series 4.” The remaining finalists in the exhibition, including four Honorable Mention winners, all exemplify uniquely creative talents and we're once again honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition was held from August 16th through September 26th and received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, Japan, China, England, Slovakia, India, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Italy and Spain. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until October 31, 2016.
