The Main Line Antiques Show combines Design, Art, Jewelry and Antiques

The twelfth annual Main Line Antiques Show, the only antiques show held on Philadelphia’s Main Line, will be held on October 7 and 8 at Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Folk art, exquisite prints, midcentury and antique furniture, decorative arts, ceramics, silver, paintings, Asian antiques, equestrian antiques and more will be on offer. Claim a piece of history from the Show to make that special design element at your home or office a conversation piece.

Committee Chair Rick Davis, Honorary Chairs Anne Hamilton and Maureen Brennan-Miller, along with Show Manager Nick Vandekar are pleased to announce that over 30 exhibitors including longstanding Main Line Antiques Show dealers Lorraine Wambold Fine Estate Jewelry and The Ivory Tower will be in attendance. New to the Show this year include Valley Forge Flowers’ The Cottage (French antiques) and Silver Art by D & R (French antique silver). We welcome back H. L. Chalfant Fine Art and Antiques, Hollie Powers Holt Fine Art, Wesley T. Sessa Antiques, Van Tassel-Baumann American Antiques, James Kilvington, Stevens Antiques, Dixon-Hall Fine Art and Johanna Antiques. Exhibitors hail from the U.S. East Coast to France.

Opening Night Party The ever popular Opening Night Party will be held Friday, October 6. Surrey and the Main Line Antiques Show share our gratitude to all of our sponsors including Presenting Sponsor West Laurel Hill and Opening Night Party Sponsors Matt & Anne Hamilton and David J. Eddie Ross “Shop the Show” Celebrity Designer Eddie Ross will be giving an exclusive private tour of the Show on Sunday October 8 from 10am – Noon to “Shop the Show” demonstrating how to mix antique and modern decor. “Shop the Show” tickets include a copy of Eddie’s book “Modern Mix” (value $45), champagne, bloody marys, juice and light breakfast bites. Appraisal Event The FREEMAN’S Appraisal Event “What’s It Worth” will be held Friday October 20 from 3-6 pm at Surrey in Devon, Pennsylvania. The fee is only $50 for two items for verbal valuation. Tickets for designated time intervals can be purchased by calling 484-843-2510.

The Main Line Antiques Show’s beneficiary is Surrey Services for Seniors, a non-profit organization serving over 6,000 older adults and headquartered in Devon, with sites in Haverford, Broomall, and Media.
