If it Wasn’t for the Women: Women of Color, Behind and Through the Lens

This annual program will celebrate women photographers of color with a panel discussion. Contemporary photographers Jen Everett, Priya Kambli, and Wendy Red Star explore African American, Indian American, and Native American cultural identity in their work, respectively. They will speak on their work, accomplishments, and experiences working in the art world today.

The event will take place March 19th, from 10:30am-12:00pm.

This event is free and takes place in The Farrell Auditorium at the Saint Louis Art Museum. Advance tickets are recommended. Tickets may be reserved in person at the Museum’s Information Centers or through MetroTix at metrotix.com. All tickets reserved through MetroTix incur a service charge.
