Honoree at the Alumni Reunion: MCW alumnus, musician, educator and teacher David Tobey at Lincoln Center for the Conversatory's 75th Anniversary Concert at Alice Tully Hall in 2005. Tobey's painting "Exuberance" appeared on posters for the event and on the concert program cover, and he also conducted part of the orchestral presentation.

The Music Conservatory of Westchester (MCO) in White Plains at 216 Central Avenue will be holding their First Alumni Reunion on Saturday, June 1st from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. honoring their graduate violinist, educator and painter David Tobey with a concert, photo exhibition, a show of David's paintings, a photo show about the history of the MCW and complimentary cocktails & hors d'oeuvres. “I’m looking forward to seeing some of the alumni who’ve graduated in the 17 years I’ve been involved with the Conservatory,” said MCW Executive Director Jean Newton. “Since we started planning this event, I’ve been amazed to find how many people have a past connection to our school. David is a very special alumnus who has given back so much to the community and enriched many lives with his music and his art.” All visitors to Artfix Daily who are interested in attending are cordially invited to join us.
