Outdoor Film Series: Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Come Watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail for free on Art Hill at 7pm! Set in the Dark Ages, this cult classic parodies the legend of King Arthur and his quest to find the Holy Grail. On the journey, Arthur and his Knights encounter one absurd peril after another, including a quarreling giant, an extremely rude French officer, and a Trojan rabbit. The film was written and performed by the comedy troupe Monty Python—Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. Before the film: grab a bite at the Food Truck Fest, enjoy your edibles in our tented picnic area, and take in live music on Art Hill Plaza (more info on musical performances can be found at slam.org.) The entire Museum is open until 9:00 pm on Fridays. The Museum’s Main Level will remain open until 11:00 pm on film nights.
