Art After 5: Kurt Weill's Berlin, Paris, and New York

The Art After 5 music series takes its cue from the amazing diversity of art in the Museum's collection. Join us for free music and art on the fourth Friday of each month. 7 pm. This cabaret performance follows the life of German composer Kurt Weill (1900-1950) through songs from Weill's musicals and operas, such as "Mack the Knife" from "Threepenny Opera" and "Alabama Song" from "The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny". Featured singer and actress Elise LaBarge has performed with Union Avenue Opera and other local and regional companies in a variety of roles. Scott Schoonover accompanies on piano.
