Saint Louis Art Museum-- Celebrate the Grand Opening: World of Art
The Museum opens to the public at 10:00 am and we are taking the celebration outside with hands-on art projects and performances scheduled throughout the day featuring a variety of local cultural organizations and arts groups. We are staying open until 10 PM to allow everyone to experience the new East Building galleries. The celebration continues outside in the evening with performances in Shakespeare’s Glen and, in addition to our new Café, a variety of food trucks will be stationed along Fine Arts Drive. Please be advised, Fine Arts Drive will be closed from Government Drive to Lagoon Drive for the weekend celebration. Be sure to check slam.org for a full schedule and up-to-date parking information.
