ArtRage: Around the Table

Come celebrate the opening of San Jose Museum of Art's new exhibition "Around the Table: food, creativity, community" with us during this Third Thursday's ArtRage! In addition to viewing the galleries, there will be a live band, DIY food art, an artist "food performance", a wine-stomping themed photo booth, cocktails, and mingling as usual! Cost is $5. Activities & Entertainment: -Brother Grand is performing! This is Ben Henderson's new progressive folk rock duo. They performed at Coachella & C2SV this year! Consider it "touchy-feely food." -DIY Food Art: Printmaking using ink and real fruits and vegetables -Wine-stomping themed photo booth -Cocktails "Around the Table: food, creativity, community" is a special exhibition that looks at food today through the work of 29 contemporary artists, among whom the subject has had growing importance. It revolves around three primary topics: healthful eating; food and community; and food issues. Come and discover the fascinating stories and mysteries behind what you eat everyday.
