Metro Arts EXPO - Fine Art Show
Metro Arts Expo (previously known as Metro Arts Two Rivers Expo) is scheduled for November 3rd-5th in Capital Square at 400 Locust Street is in the heart of Downtown Des Moines. This new location is a cornerstone of business activity with an attractive eight-story landscaped atrium. The Metro Arts Expo is free to the public and will still offer everything one comes to expect from this event: a jury-selected array of art created by 100 professional artists from across the United States, live music, demonstrations and a upbeat holiday shopping atmosphere. Des Moines is the most populated city in Iowa. The approximate Metro Population of 553,000 people. In 2009, Forbes Magazine rated the City of Des Moines as #3 in the " America's Most Livable Cities ”. Capital Square at 400 Locust Street is in the heart of Downtown Des Moines. Thousands of people come to eat, shop and experience museums, music, amazing architecture. Capital Square is surrounded by cultural and social amenities such as, luxury condominiums, the Civic Center, upscale restaurants and businesses.
