The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles reopened its doors on June 19 with a special exhibit of Tesla's Cybertruck, on view until June 27, in the museum's ongoing "Alternating Currents" electric vehicle display, reports Mashable. The Cybertruck is supposed to debut in 2021.

Early viewers described the Cybertruck design as both "huge" and "stealthy."

Also, on view in an exhbit titled "Disruptors," futuristic visions by designer Rem D Koolhaas and industrial designer Joey Ruiter show how they take their own routes "to upend the norm by superimposing technology and art on one another."

Another section features the collection of Metallica's James Hetfield with classic cars that embody "a reverence for history and a disregard for convention."
