Jackson Hole Art Auction announces early 2016 highlights & seeks consignments.

Trailside Galleries and the Gerald Peters Gallery are pleased to announce the tenth annual Jackson Hole Art Auction, scheduled for September 16-17, 2016, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Early 2016 highlights include several significant western paintings which are new to market.
John Clymer’s Moving Camp, a 19 ½ x 39 ½ inch oil on canvas, is estimated at $150,000-$250,000. Awarded the Gold Medal in Oil at the 1972 Cowboy Artists of America Exhibition, Moving Camp illustrates the hardships of the Crow Indians traveling through Wyoming after the fall hunt.
E.S. Paxson’s Ever Westward (oil on canvas, 35 x 28 inches), a dramatic frontier scene, will be presented at $75,000-$100,000.
Finally, Robert Lougheed’s Open Range Encounter (oil on canvas, 29 ½ x 59 ½ inches) a ranching scene of impressive scale, will be offered at $40,000-$60,000.
Other early 2016 highlights include works by Joe Beeler, Harry Jackson, and Frank McCarthy.
