Agora Gallery’s latest exhibition, Modalities of Memory, serves as an ode to the human experience. The exhibit’s collection of compelling artists will commentate on the complex nature of being human. Through vastly different creative mediums, each artist featured in this exhibit strives to immortalize their relationships with both themselves and the natural world around them. Some painters use buoyant strokes to commentate on the inner turmoil experienced inside every one of us. Meanwhile, others remain humbled by mere existence and dissect her external relationship to nature and the cosmos through her layered abstract work. Each artist shares the same sentiment: honesty, transparency, and reflective nostalgia are the lifeblood of human authenticity. Modalities of Memory’s versatile talent will make for a meditative and transporting experience.

Modalities of Memory is opening January 16, 2021 and will be on exhibit until February 5, 2021. There will be an opening reception Thursday, January 21, 6-8 PM Located at 530 West 25th St., Agora Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 AM – 6 PM. Entrance to the gallery is free.
