The McNay tackles Radcliffe Bailey’s themes of water, blues, and blood with a new lecture series, inspired by our friends at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Two passionate experts present brief talks on specific, and very different, areas of interest. After fielding audience questions, once seemingly disparate subjects connect. This lecture features Philip Serwer, Professor of Biochemistry, UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, and Ethel Shipton, artist. Hosted by Liz Lloyd, Museum Educator, Family & Teacher Programs. Space is limited. To reserve your free tickets, call 210.805.1768 or e-mail education@mcnayart.org. Thursday, July 12, 6:30 pm, Chiego Lecture Hall
