Harvard students can now decorate their dorm rooms with ilmited edition prints by famed artists from Andy Warhol to Pablo Picasso rented from the Harvard Art Museums.
The art rental program dates back to 1972 when an anonymous donor to Harvard's Fogg Art Museum set up an acquistions fund that stilpulated art loans be available to students. The program was suspended in 2008 and revived over the summer with a rental fee of $50.
Other colleges, including MIT, are said to have similar rental programs offered through university museums.
